Trump Pulling the Stops on Nuclear (Week 18/19 News Review)

Trump Courts Public Distrust

Establishment media, whether MSNBC, NBC, or PBS has recently pointed out various potential conflicts of interest and fiscal indiscretions the President, through The Trump Organization (TTO), is mired in. The debate over whether the Trump can be prosecuted for his money-making is on, but even Times Radio, in an interview with former New York Times editor Jill Abrahamson, points out how Trump’s downfall will be his weakness, his love of lucre and “big beautiful” shiny new golden tinsel.

Trump claims that he is not culpable because he has placed his financial and business interests in the TTO which is run by his son, Donald Trump, Jr. But critics state this is not a blind trust, akin to a firewall established between the Executive Office and the President’s private business interests, such as most American presidents have done in the past. Because of the GOP and Trump’s alleged concern about the weaponization of information, they have now replaced leftist-media ads hawking war on Russia with rightest-media ads attacking China’s ‘invasion of America.’

We are led to believe that Trump can be the new Pope, that he is a fervent Christian, that he is the reborn Zionist savior, and if anyone says a word of criticism those people are either unfairly victimizing him or they are part of the enemy camp and deserve to be sidelined, defunded, attacked, or worse. Just listen to the Press Secretary in her vehement defense of President Trump and one gets the idea: Trump is a Cult-hero, worthy of the Olympus pantheon.

In fact TTO’s money-making off the Trump Presidency is so out in the open that commentators such as Eric Lipton of the NYT claims that it completely dwarfs the type of conflicts of interest from the first Trump administration. Back then observers opined about the number of guests making special stayovers at Trump International Hotel (in Washington, D.C.) or purchasing memberships at Mar-a-Lago, or queuing up for a potential celebrity encounter.

Unraveling Social Security and Critical Agencies

Today the scandals are much worse and enormous in implications for the public citizens. It affects all citizens whether or not they are Red or Blue party subscribers. The notion that Trump/TTO has confuted Executive Order (Law) with special money-making bonanza came on April 2nd with the announcement of the tariffs imposed to address trade deficits. Because there is no longer the USAID or the extensive network of diplomats needed to negotiate and compose new tariff agreements, the negotiations appear to be taking place directly through the Executive Office, Office of the President, and with assistance by the US Office of Trade Representative, and Secretary of Commerce. Reading the background of the insiders, such as Howard Lutnick, there is too high a likelihood that they are “tipping off” traders on Wall Street on forthcoming changes to the tariff rates or trade negotiations.

This was how a few weeks ago, Trump’s billionaire friends, such as Charles Schwab or Elon Musk, became just a few billion dollars richer on April 9th, whether through short-buy or pump-and-dump schemes based on Executive Order tariff retractions. Since DOGE appears to have been largely a ruse to allow the technocratic class access to the government computer systems, they are attempting to automate government, to transform it into a vast AI technocratically-run globalist-connected empire, with profit earned by “securitizing,” “real time surveillance,” “increased efficiency,” and “preventing financial shortfalls,” and even taking their projects public to allow speculation through “stable coin.”

Isn’t there already a parallel universe where this is concerned? What does this remind one of? Perhaps the nuclear reservation, where everything has always been designed for remote operation and control, where there is real-time surveillance and tracking, where handling of radioactive tasks are done via robots, algorithms, and boring deep underground shafts. Isn’t the only difference is the CEOs are heads of AI: Microsoft, Oracle, Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, Starlink, OpenAI, and many players feeding on the AI bonanza.

The primary interest, as Trump announced with the StarGate Project deal with Larry Ellison back in January, appears to be creating enough confusion that nobody can or will tell who is really watching the goods on the plantation anymore. At least $500 billion is to be invested in StarGate Project, with possibly billions more coming from supplemental bills and via the now trillion-dollar defense industry budget. This is much more than about transhumanizing the healthcare industry; using OpenAI they can design tailor-made treatments to target individuals or to clone them; as Mr. Ellison is quoted essentially saying that everyone will be absorbed and enmeshed within the AI-dominant universe from birth till death. From HealthImpactNews.com:

“The Oracle database is used to keep track of basically everything. The information about your banks, your checking account balance, your savings balance, is stored in an Oracle database. Your airline reservation is stored in an Oracle database. What books you bought on Amazon is stored in an Oracle database. Your profile on Yahoo! is stored in an Oracle database…Privacy is already gone.” —Larry Ellison quote in 2004

They are crowding around the well-pump listening for the movement of water, the elitist water-witches, mistaking the commotion in trade for the direction of water flowing through the market. To win, to dominate, to conquer, and to control they need to buy short, sell high, establish public trades for yet-to-be-created entities such as proposed Nano Nuclear or Deep Isolation, or any of a number of nuclear industry start-ups.

Arguably with Trump’s flurry of (4) Nuclear Investment Executive Orders on May 23rd comes a new race for public-private investment for the creation of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), “demonstration projects,” as recommended in Mandate for Leadership the Project 2025 Trump presidential guidebook. In fact, as nuclear investigative news and environmentalist researcher Dana Durnford comments, the majority of these SMR start-ups that have gone public have only proven to be ponzi-schemes, eventually failing and leaving small investors, like retirees, holding the debt. Yet money has been poured into these unproven projects by the government and the private sector, with those at the top profiting when the companies announce bankruptcy. Even with class-action lawsuits filed against the NuScale and Nano Nuclear SMR startups, because of the propaganda, the speculative pattern is ignored.

National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA)

Just substitute “Social” with “National Nuclear” and we have the creation of a legitimate monster for an agency that will rob all the others in the name of the forthcoming AI Frankenstein, one that is already being kitted with what the “Tech-Bro’s” foresee as their future ideal energy source for the 20 new massive data service centers: nuclear power.

Already there is a clear pattern of corrupted oversight by the nuclear industry of its ailing aged nuclear reactors all around the country, with repairs continually postponed, and a deep dark hole with money buried where there ought to be serious fruitful academic research discussions around the treatment, recovery, and burial of nuclear waste. But the “Tech-Bro’s” whose wealth comes from the military-industrial and nuclear-industrial complex must have been advised that whereas solar has undergone a renaissance with up to 660GW worth of energy created for free under the sun, they are mandated to invest in lowest-efficiency most-costly type of energy generation, no matter the inherent time-delays, cost-overruns, because nuclear is “man-made” and useful for fissile weapons.

And here is where the Trump administration with its murky conflicts of interest rears up its ugly head for notice. Here is where all Americans must raise a hue-and-cry. Who is to prevent the massive highway robbery of financial assets from Social Security, and other public-interest federal agencies, from being ransacked when NNSA comes up short (which it invariably does judging from its debt-history)? Who is to prevent the Tech-Bro’s and now crypto-educated TTO from converting these assets into “stable coin” which destabilizes the Federal banking system due to private-public investment, speculative unbacked loans and trades, and future SMR bankruptcies?

Doesn’t Crypto+AI+Nuclear spell “future meltdown” whether it’s economic bubble-collapse, technocratic nightmare (Covid-19 is a progenitor), and heightened terror risks (from all those SMR targets)? Is this being used to further justify or enhance the need for the new proposed Trump “Golden Dome,” a comprehensive global defense missile system? If only this did not alarm the man-on-the-street, hoping to work a stable job in a tangible project with real infrastructure benefits, such as building a new hydroelectric dam.

Taking the World on a Fun Ride, Trump TTO

There is nobody to guarantee that the current feeding frenzy Inside the Beltway allows thorough vetting of proposed SMR plans, experimental nuclear projects, and reliability of startup entrepreneurs. Just like Bill Gates using his Foundation to become a “medical expert” recommending his pet-vaccine projects, any “Tech Bro” can now become the quasi-public-private owner of any “future SMR” project. Nothing has to be quantified except through cooking the books, and if they fail, like a number of Covid-19 era fake health insurance, crooked research, PPE Oversight Committee, and other fraudulent insurance schemes, apparently everything will be forgotten in a few short years.

But it is the “rinse-and-repeat” nature of the kleptocrats that the public must be especially wary about. Who has forgotten EcoHealth Alliance (Peter Daszak), or Oscar Health Insurance (Jared Kushner), or Cogna Technology Solutions (3.5 million diagnostical test kits received via the UAE Embassy in Washington, D.C. billed at $52 million to the White House), or Coronavirus Task Force (PPE procurement), or the numerous elderly nursing home residents in New York state forcibly quarantined alongside of contagious Covid-19 patients? The pattern of cheating the public citizen is what is trickling down from the top. The Department of Justice, and GAO found that as part of its investigations, over 371 defendants had scammed the government and the public of $836 million dollars whether through relief programs or in fraudulent unemployment insurance claims.

In their 2023 report, the GAO estimates that “the total amount of fraud across all Unemployment Insurance (UI) programs (including the new emergency programs) during the Covid-19 pandemic was likely between $100billion and $135billion” dollars. That is between 11-15% of the total UI benefits paid out during the pandemic. The GAO report also found that recovery from fraudulent payments or overpayments was low, despite tens of thousands of complaints or concerns about fraud, waste, and abuse being filed and processed. Put simply the government lacks the personnel needed to effectively prosecute everyday cheaters; then what power can it have over the billionaires who own whole suites of lawyers?

Pulling the Nuclear Stops: All Four Orders

President Trump’s first nuclear-related Executive Order “Reinvigorating the Nuclear Industrial Base” (signed on May 23, 2025) is intended to encourage efficient uranium mineral and depleted-uranium rod fuel recycling. This is needed because the trade war against Russia and China makes it difficult to obtain rare earth and minerals for things like NPPs and nuclear-weapons manufacturing. It can spur the type of reprocessing that France Areva-Orano undertakes to produce MOX nuclear fuel for, for instance, thermal-neutron reactors.

The second Executive Order, “Reforming Nuclear Reactor Testing at the Department of Energy,” is a broad mandate to reinvigorate the nuclear industry incorporating more present-day technologies:

“Swift and decisive action is required to jumpstart America’s nuclear energy industrial base and ensure our national and economic security by increasing fuel availability and production, securing civil nuclear supply chains, improving the efficiency with which advanced nuclear reactors are licensed, and preparing our workforce to establish America’s energy dominance and accelerate our path towards a more secure and independent energy future.”

Contained in the mandate are policy changes that will “expedite and promote to the fullest possible extent the production and operation of nuclear energy” because apparently, without question, nuclear energy can be “affordable, reliable, safe, and secure” (even though the history of nuclear energy waste disposal leaves a lot to be desired). For sure Section 3 of this EO does try to address this, but the problem of nuclear waste lasts hundreds of thousands of years.

Project 2025 Mandate for Leadership addresses this by recommending partially privatizing nuclear waste-disposal, something which should raise the hackles of public citizens, understanding the types of dirty, inept waste disposal and mobster-connected businesses operating around the world. Watchdogs have uncovered waste secretly dumped in makeshift mounds, remote forests, with no consideration for leaching into surface waters. According to Chapter 12, “Department of Energy and Related Commissions,” the current liability and costs borne by American taxpayers for FY 2023 budget request is for $887,205 billion dollars. This awesome figure translates to an estimated $887.2 trillion dollars to clean up the radioactive waste from the Manhattan Project through the Cold War, but not including the current spent fuel rods stored in temporary holding areas at NPPs around the country.

The U.S. still has no deep geologic repository (DGR), and even at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant near Carlsbad, NM, there was a very bad accident on February 14, 2014, in which cannisters of high-level waste intentionally mixed in with low-level-waste (even though the WIPP was supposed to be for low-level waste only), ruptured and caused explosions. It took years to rehabilitate the PP along with the usual horrendous costs. This topic was explored by Lokendra Sharma of The Takshashila Institution in his article “COP29 hyped nuclear energy but it won’t last” and also discussed by Environmentalist Dana Durnford.

Privatization of nuclear waste disposal practically ensures that corners will be cut, and while red-tape is eliminated, record files can be disappeared, hidden, made unavailable to the public by various types of ruses (a favorite one being acquisition and restructuring for instance). If the public cannot discover how the waste was treated, where it went, and so on, what is to prevent LLW from being ground up and probably mixed in with soils, or HLW being mixed into LLW through downgrading and reclassification schemes? This is already recommended in Chapter 12 (p. 395) that a HLW redetermination would allow LLW to be “grouted rather than vitrified.”

Third Executive Order, “Ordering the Reform of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission,” is most likely a boiler-plate industry proposal that has finally reached the President’s desk. It targets the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for restructuring (or replacement with pro-industry shills) because of the NRC’s alleged excessive concern about radiation exposure, expensive licensing fees, and failure to license new reactors. The reformed NRC will be mandated to quickly license a new generation of nuclear reactors to expand the nuclear power generation share from 100GW in 2024 to 400GW by 2050. (This ignores the growing rate of solar power, up to 600GW worth built in just one year, according to CleanTechnica.com).

But with all the trillions of dollars being spent on NIC and MIC, there must be a correlating amount of pro-nuclear propaganda being paid for. If they are not going to violently sabotage or false-flag the competing energy company’s assets, then they must advance decorous fables. One such is put out by Asianometry (YT) which alleges that Japan already has several working nuclear-powered desalination plants called Ohi. It turns out from quick research that Japan’s Ohi NPP is operational, but no desalination is mentioned. Asianometry confuses Japan’s Ohi NPP with the Douglas OHI, a prominent construction and engineering firm in Oman. Douglas OHI is not a nuclear plant; it just coincidentally has a similar sounding name. However it is building a huge desalination plant in Oman. It does not state anywhere in the SmartWaterMagazine article that it will be powered by nuclear. And a good thing because most likely it will never be finished on time if it were, and it would also be way over budget. The only think-tanks proposing “nuclear-powered desalination plant” schemes are Schiller Institute (LaRouche Organization) because at least a few of their prominent donors and members are from the nuclear industry.

In addition to the third nuclear EO which mandates that the NRC’s culture needs to be “reformed” and “restructured” and its regulations “modernized,” the fourth Executive Order signed by President Trump on May 23rd is “Deploying Advanced Nuclear Reactor Technologies for National Security.” Once the words “national security” are used, one realizes that the association with AI-Revolution will be imbued with “patriotic” “national emergency” “America First” “defend against China” dogmatic memes. No matter that as Brendon O’Connell (Project Talpiot) has pointed out, American technology is pilfered from the inside often by dual citizen Israeli nationalists, who being from BFF Israel, are probably allowed to do whatever they want.

The fourth EO spells out that the AI-data service centers and nuclear energy source developments are a “critical national imperative” therefore all of the federal government must “utilize its full authority to accelerate the secure and responsible development, demonstration, deployment, and export of United States designed advanced nuclear technologies to bolster readiness and enhance American technological superiority.” Whenever the modular small reactors are built, versions of this are expected to pop up and be sold around the world, so that the top American companies can make a killing. This order helps ensure that if there are any environmental reviews, they will be glossed over quickly, or even excluded from the review process. There are checks in terms of timelines, but it is uncertain who will be reviewing the progress of those timelines.

As environmentalists have noted, the danger that fast-tracking SMRs and nuclear weapons and facilities poses can be catastrophic. There are already plenty of sunk nuclear vessels (by the Russians) in the Arctic, where they apparently are sent to their grave after their long and useful lives. It is unknown the role the number of sunken nuclear-powered vessels and submarines play in contributing to the worldwide extinction-level reductions of ocean wildlife. Since holding ponds for hot fuel rods also heat up and exude hot particles, it is unknown how this is contributing to melting Arctic ice and global warming or climate change. The nuclear industry has obstructed potential studies relating to the Fukushima NPP meltdowns including up to 36 reactor cores in 2011.

Why Corruption in Future “Crypto+AI+NPP” Complex Concerns US

Conflicts-of-interest from the first Trump administration have faded away, but the current conflicts-of-interest have risen to record levels, so many and thick by Trump and his peers that they are difficult to trace, track, and discuss. There is the $400million dollar gift from Qatar, which Trump claims is just a donated luxury Boeing 747 (due to undue influence at the Pentagon, it has already been declared “legal and acceptable”); Trump meme coin & Melania Trump meme coin sales, trade, and speculation as cryptocurrency; high-pressure fundraisers selling access to Trump for top buyers (May 22nd at Trump National Golf Club); DJT Jr. selling “Executive Branch” Georgetown club memberships worth $500k with access to Trump officials for invite-only correspondent soirees; selling Mar-a-Lago memberships for after-party mixers; selling influence via Truth Social; selling “stable coin” via TTO/Zach Witcoff’s World Liberty Financial (to replace traditional money); and obtaining access through Trump real-estate development partnerships.

The normalization of crypto-trade and speculation by the sitting President’s family is worth concern given that top investors are foreigners from nations with terrorist links. “Crypto assets are the perfect vehicle for corruption,” asserts Virginia Carter, former chief counsel for ethics and anti-corruption in the Obama White House. Just because everything is done out in the open, it does not equate with “transparency“; we must either “fight it or cede to it” otherwise we will have a corrupt state in America, Carter told MSNBC in an interview.

It is worth noting that the Trump administration has deliberately left the crypto-currency market unregulated and may impede Congress’s attempts to establish a cryptocurrency regulatory framework (such as the GENIUS Act or “Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins”). However this may not affect the selling and speculation of meme coins or tokens, as TTO has successfully done. Short of lawsuits, the TTO will continues its grind, somewhat like a huge pseudo-predatory money-boring machine.

Here is what Politico has to say in “Trump’s Memecoin Dinner Ignites Outrage” posted on May 22nd:

“The memecoin dinner — billed as the ‘most EXCLUSIVE INVITATION in the World’ — is the latest example of the president’s stunning pivot from crypto scourge to evangelist, an evolution that has been put on stark display since he took back power in Washington…Concerned about the blurring lines between Trump the president and Trump the business mogul, many critics say the event is a pay-to-play scheme. Investors, they say, had to buy piles of $TRUMP during a two-and-a-half-week-long window to win an invite—sending the price higher and generating a bonanza of trading fees for the Trump family and its partners.”

Critics also point out that the TTO can care less who buys the tokens so long as they can cash in. They can be creeps who imprison their relatives for decades; they can be IS operatives who are murdering Orthodox Christians in Syria; they can be Mossad-pager designers, infamous for detonating explosives; they can be spies from sanctioned nations; that is all irrelevant. Trump has always been about making money, enriching themselves, and the overt display of wealth among their peers: so it may even be an advantage now that he has exposed the way for outsiders, at least those who have not lost money, to understand that the cryptocurrency fad can undermine the U.S. monetary system, while making the few fabulously rich:

“Trump, who once derided crypto as ‘a scam,’ has consistently gone to bat for the upstart industry in the four months since Inauguration Day. He nominated crypto-friendly regulators to oversee the industry. His SEC killed a nearly decade-long enforcement crusade against digital assets, while kicking off the process for writing new rules for the market. And on Monday, Republican-controlled Senate — with help from 16 Democrats — advanced a landmark crypto bill that Trump has said he wants on his desk by August.”

According to Cryptopolitan.com, just in the $Trump meme coin alone (TTO sells other tokens and World Liberty Financial sells “stable coin”), China, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar nationals have spent at least $2 billion dollars; so just in trading fees, the TTO has already taken in at least $100 million dollars. They also own 80% of the WLF company and so they profit when the share values go up, or whichever way they (through insider information) see the stock heading. This is why in a Senate hearing, Senator Christopher Murphy (Connecticut) explained: “I know Trump’s crypto scams can seem hard to understand. A foreign government is investing $2 billion in Trump’s coin to get favorable treatment from the Administration. A wild corruption.

Looking at it from the TTO point-of-view, business has never been better, and with pay-to-play so effective, who needs USAID and spending money to spread “soft-power”? By now, who doesn’t understand that extortion and enmasse purchases of TTO brand items lands one proximity for negotiating directly with Trump officials? Who would want to stop this easy-money big-business gimmick typical in the Third World? Maybe it makes Burisma Holdings, FTX, and Ukraine weapons-laundering look violent and unnecessary?

“None of this money is going to a bank account. That would be illegal. Under federal law, foreign nationals can’t donate to political candidates or inaugural funds. But buying a coin? There’s no rule that blocks that. That’s what makes Trump’s crypto business so powerful, it bypasses campaign finance law entirely. That explains why Trump has been dragging his feet when it comes to crypto…While Trump rakes in crypto money from all over the world, most of the cash is being routed through anonymous entities in the British Virgin Islands.”

In other words, the public will have a difficult time discovering who the buyers are or how much they donated, and the loot is tax-free because it is being stashed off-shore. It is not subject to crypto-regulation as the Trump administration has deregulated it. And this is just the fourth month into the second Trump administration, where TTO and their buddies are probably going to hit the hundred-billion jackpot range by the time Trump leaves office, with little to no taxes paid. No wonder that many public citizens are upset knowing that the Trump National Budget (“Big Beautiful Bill”) punishes the poor by reducing welfare programs such as SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and Medicaid.
