“State Organs: Unmasking Transplant Abuse in China” can happen in the USA
The movie opens showing a photo of Song Tao, a young man, husband, and father who started practicing Falun Gong in 1996. His wife, Yun, began the practice next year. Yun’s mother also began practicing so that her health greatly improved. “Falun Gong made our family very happy,” states Yun’s mother. However after the persecution begins, Song Tao, and eventually Yun are arrested. In July 1999 Song Tao is taken away; he was one of the coordinators of the Falun Gong practice teams in Qing Dao city.
The documentary “State Organs: Unmasking Transplant Abuse in China” opened to critical acclaim in 2024, and it has been nominated for a number of top category awards. A trailer and information about viewing the film are available at StateOrgans.com.
According to the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong, before the persecution began, the Chinese yoga practice had amassed between 70-100 million practitioners in China alone. In fact, Western media such as the CBC recorded news clips and reported on its growing popularity. Large groups were shown practicing outdoors, doing the exercise at company factories. Master Li Hongzhi had even won qigong awards for teaching the practice that cultivates health in mind and body. Unfortunately, President Jiang Zemin had a revelation in a dream that more people admired Master Li Hongzhi than himself, and so beginning on July 20, 1999, the Great Persecution began.
The goal of the persecution was not just to delegitimize its popular acceptance but completely eradicate the practice and also the practitioners. “State Organs” amply illustrates how brutal the Communist Party of China (CPC) crackdown really was. For instance, Song Tao was arrested in July 1999, and released in July 2000. Soon afterward, however, the police demand an interrogation, then using extra-judicial order, sentences him to labor camp for 3 years. Yun, his wife with a young baby at home, is not allowed to visit. Song Tao is transferred to 1st Labor Camp of Shandong Province. Eventually, unable to endure the great physical stress and torture, Song Tao passes away just a few months later.
Apparently they had cremated his remains and presented the family with an urn containing his remains. However there was no formal documentation, no death certificate issued. There was no autopsy or coroner’s report either. Later, reports emerged that at places such as Masanjia Labor camp, police use electric batons to torture numerous practitioners to force them to renounce. Yun’s complaints to the People’s commission, and ministry goes unanswered. Eventually she draws too much attention to herself, and becomes a suspect for arrest. She is formally arrested in 2001, and the remainder of her life is lived out as a fugitive before she, too, disappears from a labor camp in Shandong Province.
Another suspicious case involves Shawn, a recent college graduate, whose arrest in February 2000 sparks great concern from his caring older brother, Dr. William Huang. Even though Shawn is released in 2001, the police order him to report daily. Soon Shawn becomes a fugitive from the law, but he persists in practicing for another two years. Meanwhile the police harass members of Shawn’s family in order to locate his whereabouts. Shawn disappears after April 19th 2003, and it is likely he was re-arrested for continuing to disseminate information about Falun Gong. Dr. William Huang has searched tirelessly for his brother, taking the case to the world, and wondering exactly what transpired.
This pattern of arrest of Falun Gong practitioners, release, stalking by police, and arbitrary re-arrest appears throughout the documentary and in numerous written testimonies from former CPC prisoners at Faluninfo.net websites. The survivors work through their grief and pain by intensifying their faith but also by creating works of art for international exhibitions, such as “The Art of Zhen Shan Ren International Exhibition,” which has held more than 500 showings in 50 countries around the world. Those who are able to immigrate to the United States consider themselves fortunate; however, even today there are CPC police who secretly conduct extrajudicial arrests and even kidnappings. One wonders, what is their incentive?
Clues have emerged exposing an even greater and more horrifying institutional system of human trafficking called “organ harvesting.” According to Dr. George Zheng, a graduate of Dalian Military Medical School, while working as an intern, one night he was taken in a van to a dark site where he was introduced to the practice of live organ harvesting. The lead doctor “used a scalpel to make an incision from his xiphoid process (at the sternum) to the belly button. The abdominal cavity was opened; suddenly intestines came out; then, the doctor facing me quickly found one kidney. He told me to cut the arteries and veins in a hurry. The doctors were very skilled; they took out both kidneys quickly and put them into the cooler. Then one doctor asked me to take his eyeballs. When I looked at him [the prisoner], I saw fear in his eyes. I never saw such terrified eyes…”
Dr. Zheng refused to pluck the prisoner’s eyeballs out, but the other doctor did so with no hesitation. This prisoner was left for dead in a plastic bag, having had the desired organs removed. Throughout the documentary there is ample testimony of the rapid growth in organ transplant surgery as a big business in China beginning in late 1999, coinciding with the year that the Great Persecution began. Furthermore, many medical students, even nurses, testify that they went on “night parties” to prisons, dark sites, or roadside pullouts for performing live-organ harvesting surgeries. One nurse mentions how in the beginning she was sickened, but eventually she becomes just as inured and skilled as the doctors.
“State Organs: Unmasking Transplant Abuse in China” includes graphs showing the rapid rise in organ-harvesting in China because it is such a profitable business. In fact, today more medical tourism than ever is happening in China as reported earlier this year at CGTN. While on the surface, medical tourism is advertised as a low-cost alternative for the uninsured, and offering swift transplant alternatives for the desperate, the tourists can never tell whose organs they will receive. Nor will they know if they themselves will be coaxed into becoming organ donors. Today a wife might donate her kidney in exchange for her husband being able to receive a kidney transplant. But China has become the top leader in organ transplant surgery and in the grueling practices of live-organ harvesting, at least according to this documentary.
Western buyers must also beware. Will they receive an eye organ plucked from a Falun Gong practitioner? The statistics also point to the impossibility that all these live organs come from prisoners on death row, since China generally has such a low crime rate. In fact, the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong asserts that it is more likely Falun Gong prisoners are held at secret holding centers or dark sites specifically to torture, select, and prepare victims for live organ harvesting procedures.
Investigators and researchers and former Falun Gong labor camp detainees testify that they are subject to unusually thorough medical examinations including blood tests, examination of the entire body, and detailed questions about family history. One Falun Gong prisoner was treated unusually well until she told the doctor that her family had a history of heart failure. She was sent back to the labor camp and eventually released. Other prisoners detail how in one center, the room next door was used. The live prisoner was rapidly disemboweled. They peeked through a high window and observed medical doctors hog-tying the prisoner and slicing him up to remove the most valuable organs.
According to a table generated by Anidjar & Levine based on data from Global Financial Integrity, the typical retail price ranges for organs in US dollars are in the range from $50k to $290k even for illegal organ trade operations whether for a kidney, liver, heart, lung, or pancreas. These illegally traded organs are sold on the dark web but will also connect patients to a network of medical centers that cater to medical tourism. In China, medical transplant teams are often complicit with Falun Gong prisoner-connected live organ harvesting. This is because Chinese people awaiting organ donations have created a high demand by specifically requesting for the “clean” organs of a Falun Gong “donor.”
Even while persecuting the Falun Gong, shaming and torturing them, Falun Gong practitioners’ reputation precedes them. Their organs will contain “gong” because they have cultivated “Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance” to such an extreme. This is in contrast with organs obtained from impoverished people living in Third World nations who have suffered malnourishment, possible disease, and unhealthy tissue. The illegal organ harvesting trade is mostly unregulated; in the United States, despite denouncements from Congress against the CPC for the persecution of Falun Gong, the only enforceable laws offered is protection of legal immigration for political refugees, and Homeland Security prevention of labor, sex, and human trafficking. So far, organ trafficking eludes the law officers and is considered incidental.
No matter if Falun Gong is a cult or not (and it is not, despite what KJ Noh at BreakThrough News spreads as fake “peace activism” propaganda against Shen Yun Performing Arts). These peaceful spiritual human beings have done nothing to deserve such severe religious persecution and condemnations. They should have the right to practice and to cultivate in a safe atmosphere of religious freedom, as well as share their practice with other people if they so choose. This reporter can assure the public that there are Falun Gong practitioners of all political stripes, nationalities, and colors, and most of them practice this in the privacy of their own homes.
Those who were persecuted in China deserve legal counsel, tribunals, and reparations whether in China or through the international community. But so far the United Nations has only offered sporadic support for research and investigations. Hopefully the public will wake up soon because this documentary is not just a made-for-TV gangster-bad movie. It is based on real investigations, interviews with relatives, testimonies, and research across China. This is the kind of daily news that one never hears about in the West because China and other nations are eager to coverup while supporting the spread of these horrific crime networks worldwide. When the doctors and medical teams involved are psychopathic and predatory, when the hospitals involved have financial and political clout, aren’t they incentivized to expand their base of “medical tourism”?
In fact, due to increasingly wide-spread corruption within both political parties in the United States, Americans are in imminent danger of these Chinese mafias paying social influencers to censor and to promote false advertising against Falun Gong and Shen Yun Performing Arts. These clandestine societies will do whatever it takes to normalize live organ harvesting practices within the US medical system. Their aspiration is that poor Americans will become willing dupes for the organ trafficking industry. Recently, Western media reported as a human-interest story on evening news that a wife generously donated her kidney in exchange for her husband receiving a kidney operation. Will parents of disabled children be coaxed into signing the rights of their physically healthy but autistically disabled children as organ donors? In fact, AGN came across an immigrant Chinese-American nurse who boasted about holding two jobs: one at the school and another at the hospital working in intensive care. She claimed that “both my daughters are doctors and they work at the hospital; my husband also works at the hospital; and my third daughter plans to study medicine as well.”
The presumption that a medical doctor by default is a “kind, caring, good” person is altered after observing so much malpractice following the Covid-19 outbreak. Many were willingly complicit with fascistic internally enforced protocols for Covid-19 testing and compliance. They forced quarantine of elderly patients and caused many deaths by suffocation from unnecessary administration of ventilators and unauthorized treatment. These doctors and nurses did not question, but instead blindly complied with “emergency orders” to administer the experimental vaccines and other brutal procedures. Today thanks to a lack of historical criminal investigations into the profits of the Gates Foundation and Dr. Anthony Fauci, many of those kinds of medical establishments will embrace new laws supporting euthanasia, human cremation, and even human composting (which has become legal in many states including Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, Maine, Vermont, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Georgia).
Just like in the hit blockbuster movie, “The Fugitive,” too many doctors view over-prescribing medications as a way to pad their income. This reporter knows several doctors who point-blank bragged that their main interest in becoming doctors was for the prestige and income possibilities. Under those kinds of circumstances, one can imagine that many medical establishment types will simply look the other way once the school to organ-trafficking pipelines are put in place. The nurse provides names, data, and details on which batches of students will make good organ donors, and they will convince the parents to contact transplant-player clinics and hospitals. They may even offer the parents and the child cash for organ donation. Of course there have to be many actors infiltrating the system for roles, just as MedicalKidnap.com describes happens with regard to State Child Protective Services programs. Children have been documented in detailed cases (“Chinese-American Family in Nebraska Destroyed as Teenage Daughters Medically Kidnapped and Sex Trafficked by CPS“) being entrapped in premeditative kidnapping from their parents, then turned over to foster care, then groomed to become trafficked sex-workers.
Today various professionals can use the workplace as a masquerade. For instance, Dr. Catherine Yang Wang Anderson had the misfortune to settle in the same region of Nebraska as the “Franklin Coverup.” This was the huge child-sex-trafficking scandal involving Boys Town, Nebraska. The same errant “career success” scum are likely covertly establishing organ-trafficking networks, because as detailed in various reports from Palestinian prisoners, the last stop in the combination of sex-exploitation and ritual-abuse is organ-trafficking. Whether Kafala System, or exploited female domestic worker, they still have harvestable organs useful for the black market whether in the USA or in Gulf countries.
It does not matter in which countries these atrocities are happening: what matters is how people can work to incriminate the grotesque businesses (eg. 610 Office) This is why Reason2Resist (“Isreal’s Genocide is Not a Football Match”) recently told his audience to ignore the daily Kabuki theater happening on Truth Social because that is the news sideshow. The real action not being reported is what Americans must learn about from genuine foreign news correspondents: the day-to-day bombings, the rampant destruction, the deliberate deprivations caused for the people in Lebanon, Gaza, and Iran. Also, the economic contraction of the bourgeoisie reliant upon diesel throughout Asia, including Australia. Preventing runaway war spending and crimes against humanity matters more than dwelling on the choleric ravings of the madman responsible for starting wars—and genocide.
“State Organs: Unmasking Transplant Abuse in China” can and will happen in the USA, so this alone is sufficient reason to watch the documentary and learn about the crisis. However it is difficult to watch it all in one sitting. There is much to research and investigate, but strict international bans on live-organ trafficking are apparently years away.
