State of the Union Address By President Trump (News Review Week 7)

President Trump delivered a brilliant Address at the Joint Session of Congress on March 4, 2025. The speech was striking and exemplative, emphasizing committment and action to a whole-of-government approach to Bringing America Back. The Speech, aptly titled “America is Back” emphasizes the dawn of a golden age in American spirit, pride, and confidence. It is “Our America” and our deliverance will be unstoppeable, full of unrelenting action just like in the days of O’ Pioneers.

President Trump opened the speech with an example of what’s been accomplished in just over six weeks in office. Indeed the outline was published on February 20th at WhiteHouse.gov in the article titled, “America is Back — And President Trump is Just Getting Started.” It hearkens back to the “Make America Great Again Plan” promises outlined in Trump’s campaign. And lest we forget, as the establishment media has, Trump also developed the “Platinum Plan: President Trump’s Promise to Black America Over 4 Years.”

Whether speech, campaign promise, plan of action, Executive Order, or Request to Congress for legislative action: President Trump’s second term pillars of opportunity are: Opportunity, Security, Prosperity, Fairness. He wants to increase capital for new businesses, enact common sense criminal justice reform, provide funding for HBCUs, and initiate Opportunity Zones to address disparities and advance a fair and just America for the Black Community. But really it’s a blueprint for all the Forgotten Men and Women in America.

The “America is Back” economy of unity, peace, and prosperity is for every American, which is why this gives way to one of the most relatable inspiring speeches ever heard across America. There were no overt calls for war with any nation, even China. Instead, there is a fierceness and energy that bespeaks of giants lifting the weights we Lilliputians have become burdened in carrying. In just one month, Team Trump has already gotten 100 executive orders and 400 executive actions signed.

“We will be a nation based on Truth, Justice, and Common Sense” as opposed to an America now rocked by “Raging Inflation, Open Borders, Rampant Crime, Attacks on our Children, and Global Conflict, Chaos, and Instability” states the Preamble in the MAGA Plan 2024 GOP Platform. We are at a touchstone moment when authenticity is our beacon of hope.

I. Tackle Critical Sovereign Nationhood Issues — More Done in One Month Than in Four Years

Trump mentions in his speech how the GOP is committed to taking back our Land from the invasion through our borders over the last four years. In just 42 days in office, the illegal migration has slowed to a trickle, down to 94% as reported by the US Customs & Border Patrol. Did this require legislative action passed by Congress, as Biden’s VP insisted? No, it didn’t!

From illegal immigration has come relentless waves of relatively low-skilled workers and laborers, along with literally criminals sent from the prisons of Latin America into the United States. Just as in Mexico, these cartels seek to carve up America into drug territories and infest our political class just as it has taken over in Mexico. It is unknown how many of the political and entertainment class are complicit, but obviously it is significant.

Ticker Tape Fact: “Last year, CBP Seized Over 21,000 Pounds of Fentanyl at Our Borders: Enough to Kill Nearly 5 Billion People”

Trump emphasizes that with so many drugs on the streets, not only has it killed hundreds of thousands of Americans, but contributes to the crime and homelessness plagueing Blue Cities. This is why the GOP Platform puts the clean up of American cities as an important priority so we can enforce immigration laws, deport the criminals, and stop all the expensive accommodations.

Trump and the GOP also emphasize a return to traditional American values. This theme is integral to our definition as a Sovereign Nation, not a globalist one. So Trump has renamed the Gulf of Mexico, the Gulf of America, and returned the title of Mount McKinley for Alaska. Schools will no longer preach Critical Race Theory, shaming nonblack people, nor other DEI type of programs such as Early Childhood Sex Education, Transgender ideology, or allowing boys to pose as girl-athletes. The tyranny of such distractions corrupting the minds of children is one reason why the American education system is failing so many children who are unable to compete in scholastics on their own. Furthermore, Trump has already issued an Executive Order, “Protecting Children from Chemical and Surgical Mutilation,” to halt the sneaky transgendering of children from one sex into another (even though a coterie of physicians find it to be extremely profitable).

Along with this, President Trump is taking steps to End the Weaponization of Government, where as an example Congress invests significant tax-payer time and energy repeatedly investigating and framing President Trump and J6 for impeachment, court trials, prosecutions with the aim of jailing political opponents indefinitely (as is done in China, Turkiye, or Israel). These sorts of actions never happened before the 21st century, yet in the Age of Information Technology, it is called the Patriot Act for Mass Surveillance and Cyber-hacking. This is why patriots impute these sorts of third-world vengefulness as communist, because that is what is done even under the guise of democratic “friendly” but deceptive leaders.

Undoubtedly the Leftists cannot fathom how to be unburdened by what has been, stuck in their past pattern of “demonizing Trump” and other members of his Cabinet. This unfortunate reality has been pounded home in recent days by the continued ongoing attacks against right-wing media personalities, including assaults and murders. We must pray that the Democratic Party in Congress do what Trump has urged, “Why Not Join US? Let’s Work Together and Truly Make America Great Again.” Otherwise they are leading their followers and this country down the continued path to perdition, which is indeed, what many envious nations secretly wish (and not just China).

II. Role models, New Common-Sense Legislations

President Trump’s Address was a presentation utilizing screen technology to allow voter feedback and offer a recap of talking points using ticker tape at the bottom of the screen. In addition during the Address, Trump repeatedly connected his vision for America bringing out model Americans present in the audience, doing so in ways underscoring relevance with every day citizens. He seemed to make a point of that—-something he’s learned in the past four years of campaigning—-touching the hearts and souls of true patriots.

Some of these role models, even a few Democrat politicians felt compelled to stand and clap for. These included: Robert Ortiz, a Border Patrol Agent, hero, saving fellow BPA from a gangster shooting at Cartel Island; DJ Daniel, 13yo African-American youth who wants to become a real Police Officer, but is in remission from brain cancer; and Jeff Denard, a 27-year Steel Plant Worker, foster parent, Volunteer Fire Department Captain.

These were connected to new Trump committments, such as the severity and extent of the cartel infestation across the border, that the Trump Administration needs a Detailed Funding Request for Border Law Enforcement, and for Deportation at Mexico and Canada’s borders.

Ticker Tape: “Harvard Poll: 76% support closing the border with additional security and policies”

Trump remarked that we must Reclaim Our Sovereignty because the Law and Order Justice System has been Turned Upside-Down, with Jurisdictions even ceasing enforcement of the laws. He also took the opportunity to introduce the new U.S. Attorney General, Pam Bondi, and the new Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Kash Patel.

President Trump took time to honor the First Lady, Melania Trump, who is engaged in foster care support networks; as well as a young protoge, Haley Ferguson from Fostering the Future Initiative, studying to become an educator; also Elliston Berry, scam-victim from Deep Fake Imagery. Berry is the poster-child for the new Take It Down Act, which recently passed in the Senate, led by John Thune, that will criminalize the improper use of Deep Fakes. As everyone know, Trump has been the victim of the worst kinds of not only Deep Fake images, but indecent sculptures of himself by Leftist-haters, particularly those with Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS).

Also Laken Riley’s mom and sister (Allison and Lauren) were there to commemorate the new Laken Riley Act, which will remove all criminal aliens who threaten public safety. Trump had earlier also declared by Executive Order that Tren de Aragua, MS-13, the Sinaloa Cartel, the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, the United Cartels, the Gulf Cartel, the Northeast Cartel, and the Michoacán Family are identified now as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) and that the Department of Defense, under the leadership of Pete Hegseth, will do what it takes to hunt down the leaders. In fact, Trump offers Border Czar Tom Homan, head of ICE, and Christy Noem, new Director of Homeland Security, his full support for using all border patrol and auxilliary law enforcement needed to investigate and hold accountable those conducting child-trafficking and other forms of human trafficking.

Ticker Tape: “ICE Arrests of Illegal Immigrants Have Surged 627% under President Trump”

Other American role models included Alexis Nungaray, whose daughter, Jocelyn Nungaray, was brutally raped and murdered by 2 illegal aliens from Venezuela Prison Gang, Tren de Aragua. Strange how few Democrats stood up when President Trump offered a new public order to rename Galveston National Wildlife Refuge to Jocelyn National Wildlife Refuge.

Also Ms. Jonathan Diller, whose husband, a police officer, was gunned down by career criminals, with very long arrest records, was there to secure a promise by the Trump Administration that there will be a new crime bill for getting tough on repeat offenders while enhancing protections for police officers. Trump also presented an Executive Order authorizing the death penalty for anyone who murders a police officer, requesting Congress to pass such policy into permanent law.

Finally honored for courage in the line of duty was Jason Hartley, who lost his Dad, an LA Sheriff Deputy. As a senior in high school who is very accomplished, he hopes to graduate from West Point Military Academy; and Marc Fogel who was detained in Russia with a sentence of 14 years. While the previous administration, for lack of communication with Russia, had done nothing, Trump promised his mother, who lives in Butler, PA, that he would whatever he could to bring her son home. That was the same date when meeting her just before the rally, he ascended the stage and while giving a speech, met with an assassination attempt. Finally, there was Corey Comparator, the firefighter, veteran, Christian, father, and protector who was shot in Butler, PA and died trying to shield his wife, Helen and daughers.

Ticker Tape: “President Trump: I believe that my life was saved that day in Butler for a reason: I was saved by God to Make America Great Again.”

As exemplified by the mass shootings and foreign invasion, the security of America can be improved, which is why President Trump has also proposed the enhancement of internal defense systems with the Golden Dome Missile Defense Shield System.

 

III. Economic Realizations — Common Sense Common Theme: Rescue Our Economy

While the Democrats continued to wave their paddles saying, “False” and “Lies” and offer other negative messaging, the fact is that according to at least one recent poll, more Americans than ever believe that America is now headed in the right direction under President Trump and the GOP. Unless one lives in a bubble, which some politicians apparently do, one cannot escape noticing the grotesque homeless encampments in states like California, which has six of the worst homelessness crisis cities: San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Sacramento, Los Angeles, San Diego. How any legislator fails to see this can only be explained by Reform California’s Assemblyman Carl DeMaio: “Homelessness is a Boondoggle.” But there are such cities across all fifty states now, because of inflationary prices, less jobs creation than the Biden Administration claims were filled, impractical mandates in support of the New Green Deal, and maximal administrative state bureaucracy obstructing reasonable timelines and costs for small business operations and the construction industries.

This is why during the Address, President Trump outlines steps to Make America’s Economy Strong Again. After the security of our Borders, it includes protecting American Workers, Bringing Manufacturing Back Home, Jumpstarting Drill Baby Drill to Make America Less Reliant on Wars for Oil, and Lowering Inflation while Protecting American Farmers.

For instance, Trump outlined how for every one new piece of legislation, ten will be rescinded thereby loosening up the red tape of over-regulation, gratuitous lawsuits filed by all kinds of special interest groups that impede project permitting, and undoing the harm of over-strenuous Climate Action Green Energy Mandates. In fact, according to Peak Prosperity, there is no way the United States can do without oil and fossil fuels production (“Drill Baby Drill”) because of the relatively tiny fraction of alternative energy use and, accounting for efficiency plus return on investment, the BTU yield. Banning the use of fossil fuels, gas stoves, or gas-combustion engines for the sake of “Saving the Planet” is having too many immediate negative economic consequences, counter-productive for industry, and impractical. (America’s electric grid is also unreliable due to years of underinvestment in hard infrastructure).

Higher oil and fossil fuel prices also drive up inflation which impacts prices at the grocery store, something all voters and even President Trump has noticed. Inflation diminishes consumer spending which drives small businesses into bankruptcy. Over-regulation and impractical regulation includes, as an example, licensing and permitting rules on owning chickens, and requiring farmers to vaccinate their chickens. The rising price of eggs is also sadly due to millions of chickens dying after receiving forced vaccinations.

With Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. now the Health and Human Services Secretary, he has made campaign promises to make vaccines optional and to reduce the number of vaccinations required as he has long advocated at his Children’s Health Defense. With a healther society, this will lessen America’s dependence on Big Pharma prescriptive medications, and hopefully also reduce serious mental illness and mass school shootings. Instead of spending excessive amounts of money on DEI and security, opportunity zones can create programs such as Kennedy featured in, “Recovering America,” a documentary film showing how youth overcame their drug addictions through ranching and farming work programs. Through apprenticeships, enrollees plugged into Nature, ridding themselves of the toxic memes of the urban jungle.

On the other hand, America’s seniors and disabled people are being doused with fear-mongering by Leftists that DOGE and Trump want to cut off Medicare, Social Security, and Medicaid. One preacher in Chattanooga even advocates violence as a way to “defend what you have” because “that is what the Bible teaches.” In fact, President Trump and DOGE have not advocated any cutoffs in social welfare, especially not those seniors legally entitled to them. Instead in his Address, Trump described numerous examples of massive waste, fraud, and abuse uncovered by DOGE, figures at least partially corroborated by the Government Accountability Office in a report describing $500 billion in wasteful spending.

Cutting down in waste, fraud, and abuse saves the Federal Government and taxpaying public money needed to ensure that vital programs stay solvent. Closing loopholes or false payment schemes ensure more federal workers perform their work ethically and responsibly. Hundreds of billions of dollars have already been identified thanks to DOGE, money that Elon Musk proposed might be returned to all U.S. citizens in the form of $5000 dollar payments per person. Of course some people are never satisfied with even some reparations, and extremist Democrats even mockingly asked, who needs this sort of money? Weren’t these the same ones making the biggest deal about the $750 being offered to survivors of hurricane or wildfire after their were homes destroyed with nothing left?

Ticker Tape: “President Trump: My Administration will Reclaim Power from the Unaccountable Bureaucracy and We Will Restore True Democracy to America Again”

The embezzling by operatives, organizations, and political entities must be sourced, because the wealth of the political class is already beyond what any ordinary voter can imagine. As anyone has studied, even serving a few terms, the wealth acrued through political lobbying, fundraising, and insider-trading on Wall Street have made junior Representatives fabulously rich in just a few short years. One example is AOC, a DSA member, who went from bar waitress to networth over $9million dollars in her second term. Are they dipping into the the extra tens of billions of dollars once hidden away at USAID? Why is the US Deficit in the 36 trillion dollar range, with the interest alone accrueing at the fabulous rate of an estimated 200million dollars per hour? The US taxpayers have undoubtedly helped fund the snarky politicians lifestyles, so no wonder they are angry and scowling and baring their teeth.

Ticker Tape: “President Trump: Americans have given us a mandate for Bold and Profound Change”

Trump’s recipe for rejuvenating the American Economy also includes tariff protections. The hope is that this brings back the automotive industries to places like the Midwest where many manufacturing jobs have fled to Mexico or Asia. It is not all China: those industry executives are transnational globalists, such as Mercedes or Volkswagon, who were always looking for an excuse to relocate abroad. President Trump explained how many nations, including China, India, Mexico, Canada, EU, and Brazil, impose stiff tariffs against Made in the USA products, even though those nations have received tens of billions of dollars in subsidies, military aid, foreign aid, to protect their profits. India imposes tariffs up to 100 percent, South Korea up to 400 percent, while the U.S. manufacturing capacity is so weak that Japan has proposed purchasing one of America’s last remaining large steel mills. Along with incentives, such as domestic and manufacturing tax cuts, in recent weeks, manufacturers are proposing up to $1.7 trillion dollars in new investments inside the US.

A further incentive initiated by President Trump is the “Gold Card” pathway to U.S. citizenship for wealthy people who can afford $5 million dollars. According to Trump, and the new Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and Howard Lutnick, Secretary of Commerce, this has the potential to generate up to $500 billion in investment from rich foreigners interested in buying their way to citizenship. They bring with them not just riches, but hopefully industry, talent, and high-aptitude progeny who could afford to pay their way through college, further enriching the economy.

Ticker Tape: “President Trump: Last week Honda announced plans to move production from Mexico to Indiana to avoid tariffs.”

Even with robotocization reducing the value of human labor and sparking layoffs, the plan to impose recipricol tariffs, “whatever they tariff us, we will tariff them,” will spark job growth. For instance, if American farmers can sell more product in the U.S. market, it can encourage more farm-to-table type small business growth. Imposing 25 percent tariffs on foreign aluminum, copper, lumber, and steel, along with loosening all the regulatory rules, will encourage more Made in America industrial production as well. The trickle down effect in related manufacturing products will slow the rise of China, while also providing factory jobs for those who spend four years in college only to acrue a mountain of unpayable student debt. Finally President Trump pitched that tariffs will be more incentivizing than the CHIPS Act, which had poor results but cost roughly $50 billion dollars.

IV. Foreign Policy — A Work-in-Progress

President Trump’s foreign policy is a work-in-progress. There are many discussions and concerns taking place everywhere, however, the Trump Team is already exhibiting more committment to ending the Ukraine-Russia War than the previous administration. New Secretary of State Marco Rubio has already participated in talks with Russia and Ukraine in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to propose a ceasefire. The problem is that NATO is still chock full of funds deliberately pumped in by the Biden administration last-minute to continue supporting Ukraine. Another problem indicator is that Ukraine’s 10-Point Peace Plan in the past specifically stated they will not negotiate with Putin unless he is arrested for crimes against humanity. Of course Ukraine is in such dismal state, despite the hundreds of billions of military and financial and other aid offered by the West, that it may not be able to hold out.

The Trump foreign policy is also more focused on Canada and Mexico because of the emergency at the border. Trump stated that the tariffs policy is spurred by the Fentanyl Border Crisis.

Securing the border, ensuring cross-border cooperation, undoubtedly will elicit discussion and international feedback. This style of Trump trolling the public on proposals about taking over the Panama Canal, and Greenland, seems offensive to the Democrats, however it must be appreciated that the standard way of America’s Deep State has always been to proceed with covert soft-power USAID-sponsored color-revolutions, regime-change operations, presidential arrest, and even assassinations, without worry of public opinion, let alone holding town halls. Now for the first time, the Trump Team is allowing the public the benefit of town halls without the games of “Manufacturing Consent” or deploying the “Delphi-Effect” in problem-solving-discussion-and-solution.

President Trump’s Speech Closure contains the panoramic sort of vision typical in soundscapes like musical genius Aaron Copeland’s “Grand Canyon Suite.” It is sweeping and majestic, even if overall, Trump’s Address barely mentions investment in physical infrastructure. However the content in this Address is already quite dense—-much more than what the public usually hears which is a lot of cliches, historical euphemisms, and abstractions—-nothing like a rundown of how closely the President is adhering with his campaign promises.

There is more to unpack here than space allows due to so much substance but much of which the Trump campaign has made available online. Responsible citizens are urged to view or listen to the Trump Address to the Joint Session of Congress, and become well-informed. The unfortunate reality today is that too many people are reduced to listening to soundbites from social media, to the interpretation filtered from political pundits, biased church leaders, or overly simplistic motifs from special interest lobbies.

Right now, Americans have a great opportunity in Trump to wrestle America Back from the Arms of Globalism and the one-upsmanship desires of foreign nations who anticipate the decline of the American Dollar. Deep State Globalists rely on sowing dissent from all sides so that society breaks down in chaos and confusion. Just as in France or Germany today, the WEF leaders, masquerading as friendly collectivists, assume the reins of societal control, claiming there is plenty of money for foreign immigrants and for waging war, but no money for fixing roads and bridges and supporting native-born citizens.

According to the Schiller Institute, the last thing globalists respect is national sovereignty because these are the banking elite, who implement transnationalist agendas crafted at Bilderberg, The World Economic Forum, G7, and the United Nations. As the weak nation of the United Kingdom today demonstrates, this is hardly a conspiracy; it is why they fight so hard against the Patriots of America irregardless of their race or identity. They want to quash the big-picture, independent, free-thinking that emanated from Our Founding Fathers. Instead they support revisionist histories labeling and dismissing the earliest Revolutionaries as merely “white slave-owners.”

It is precisely because of our dumbed-down warped “culture of blame” that our entire society is at the brink of social instability. The anarchist-elements within Leftists ultimately result in violence, but typically engender a process of: victimization-blame-shame-hostility-reversal-alienation-aggression-spin. This typified communist revolution in the past, even if today China appears to be a shining silver-model on the hill. It may all be an illusion in pursuit of global dominance, but due to all the past wars, it is clear that the American economy is sick, and something must be done. Within our public schools, graduates’ logical-thinking skills are systematically blunted by the plethora of pathetic fallacy, brute lyrics, group emotionalism, social-media indoctrination so that they all too frequently rashly jump to conclusions without exploring both sides of the argument. This is exactly what the Leftist bureaucrats, such as in California, hope to perpetuate ad-infinatum in order to frustrate the efforts to investigate all the hidden sources of government embezzling.
