Not a Roosevelt, Never Will Be
The banners on the Department of Labor in Washington, D.C. suggest that there is a patriotic duty to compare President Trump with President Theodore Roosevelt.
One long banner hangs down on the viewer’s left, showing the steadfast glower of Trump, while another shows the resolute stare of Roosevelt. Both are depicted as stern men who knew their business. It is like all the gilded reframing of president portraits lining the portico in the West Wing, as if Trump likes to remake the presidents’ legacy. A tyrant and narcissist will never be able to recognize that those presidents might spurn someone who despises The People. But Trump thinks it is funny that instead of a gold-framed President Biden, all that is shown is an “auto-pen.”
However any comparison with Roosevelt is false. True, both favor the policy of Manifest Destiny and the spread of American Imperialism. Both were to some extent racist; such as Roosevelt’s admiration of the persecution of Native Americans as expressed in his multivolume history books, “The Winning of the West.” However Roosevelt’s redeeming quality was a genuine idealistic and even intellectual enthusiasm for life in the outdoors. Despite being wounded during an assassination attempt, this flame did not die. He supported the establishment and expansion of the National Park Service, including for Yosemite National Park. Under his administration, nature enthusiasts such as John Muir convinced Roosevelt to visit the Park, and he became enchanted.
Yosemite National Park was established to allow the American public at large to enjoy the great waterfalls and forests nearby. It favored slow rudimentary development even though it did develop a Wawona Resort as a health retreat. However for a long time, nothing suggested a desire to foster an exclusivity solely for the super-rich. This is quite unlike President Trump, who jets back and forth using Air Force One to Mar-a-Lago, his exclusive resort in Florida. Trump, as Donald Trump Organization (DTO), is a billionaire who charges high membership fees for entry to his clubs and resorts. He exclusively enjoys playing golf, primarily by himself or with buddies like Republican Lindsay Graham (SC).
The definition of access to Trump (head of DTO) is defined by highest price paid, not anything else. So why would he have even paid attention to a John Muir? As for news over the past few years about Trump’s personal life before becoming a multibillionaire surfaces, everyone knows about his decade or so relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, a human trafficker, pedophile, and collaborator with Ghislaine Maxwell, a known Mossad agent. Early on, Trump was also a pal with Roy Cohen, a slimy power-broker who may have encouraged Trump in his partying, pill-popping, and women-abusing episodes. There is also a photo of Pam Bondi being involved with Trump from way back when, so it may help explain the present weaponizing of the DOJ to persecute political opponents.
Power, Profit, and Control
How anxious was and is Trump to cover up his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein? It is all in the open, available from websites, these detailed statements from women who have been trafficked to Trump, such as at Health Impact News. The operation of casinos, escort agency, affiliation with Miss Universe, and so on, are all available for research, as are the photos of Melania from her early days as a “model.” Nobody is imagining this, and it is certainly not a “hoax.”
Of course the Deep State can help eliminate the records, such as they have with the Charlie Kirk assassination. But too many people have filmed, downloaded, and saved the video. Jeff Rense, at Rense Radio, was one of the first to posit, along with Gary Holland, that the killer is “Brown Shirt Man” at the very front of the audience, and that “Brown Shirt Man” activated a palm-gun to do a close-up shot at Charlie Kirk, then jumped over the barricade and table to “help carry the body out.” Other videos show the black-polo shirt guard actually doing a body-slam knocking Charlie Kirk, still sitting in his chair, down. Then all the men rounded up the body quickly, carrying it to the conveniently backed-up SUV that drove Charlie to the event. There is too much evidence that this assassination was preplanned, yet the dominant narrative remains that it was a lone-gunman, Tyler Robinson. The motivation for the Deep State is, as usual, the control of profit and narrative supporting the Washington Consensus. So speedily is the response time that they have already “paved over” the grassy area within days of the tragic event. Within minutes of the shooting, they removed evidence, such as the camera memory cards from the site. Now, with the puppet Erika Kirk in a leadership role at Turning Point USA, she is reportedly planning a lawsuit against the social media star and podcaster Candace Owens, because Owens is “destroying” the organization’s reputation. Actually, what Owens has reported on quite extensively about, as a long-time partner of Charlie Kirk at Turning Point USA, is the obscure and shady cover-up attempts by various entities. These are entities who tried to threaten Charlie repeatedly, because he was becoming “too woke” in the foreign policy arena. Arguably it is these entities who have huge influence in the Beltway region, and their bottom line is always profit, power, and control. Owens has the right to be skeptical.
In fact, when Trump Hotel in Washington, D.C. was not taking in enough profit, DTO sold it to another hotelier for several hundred millions in profit, despite the fact that the DTO obtained the Old Post Office at auction level pricing. Before this, it used to house a variety of federal agency offices and nonprofits. Of course Trump would never think of donating the building to Washington, D.C. local government or to large organizations that help house the homeless, such as Catholic Charities.
Under President Trump, the divide between the rich and poor is increasing every day that Trump is in office. Podcaster Chris Norlund, a mixed AAPI heritage podcaster located in South Korea, jokes that the economy can be described by the letter “K.” It’s an easy enough meme to remember: the graph for the rich is growing diagonally upwards, while the graph for the poor heads diagonally downwards, whether in profits, income, or labor statistics. It explains why Washington, D.C. is unrecognizable from twenty years ago, so quickly has been the pace of gentrification, and the Covid-19 boom-bust cycle that emptied out many small businesses.
Many disparities continue to grow because under Trump and HR 1 (“The Big Beautiful Bill”), the super-rich will gain new tax write-offs off the backs of the poor through cuts to Medicaid and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). They also profit from cuts to the Affordable Care Act, Department of Education, and so on. This is not counting the ongoing insider trading opportunities from the daily fluctuations due to Trump’s tariff pronouncements and adjustments. Their short-term plans are to replace as many people as possible with robots, to privatize as many federal buildings and properties as possible, to digitize the monetary system, and to siphon federal monies for the building of AI data centers, which will require massive amounts of investment and infrastructure.
According to reveals by Democracy Now, it is all there in the undisclosed plans, according to Russ Vought, caught on tape in an interview with reporters posing as donors last year. Politico has also exposed the variety of right-wing pro-technocracy thinktanks which are aggregating around the neoconservatives and DTO. Each one develops different blueprints and draft legislations for putting their futuristic plans in place quickly. Project 2025 even has a tracker timeline for ticking off what gets done when.
In fact, the Trump administration is covering up overdue labor statistics using the excuse that it was the Democrats who shut the government down, so nothing will be available for months. Studies by private thinktanks, as discussed at UNFTR podcast, indicate that in October alone, over 130,000 people have been laid off. People are being let go in the tens of thousands this year because workers are being replaced by robots. An example of how sophisticated manufacturing has become is shown in video clips of Stellantis manufacturing in Michigan showing the variety of highly skilled unionized workers on the floor sandwiched between huge robotic-armed machinery.
Services provided by people are becoming automated through software and AI-driven chatbots. Orders are being taken only via online networks. Human customer service is more difficult than ever to locate. The reasoning is this will inflate the bottom line for the CEO and owners of companies. They will no longer have to pay people their sick days, holidays, annual leave, or health insurance. Humans will no longer need accommodations in large work spaces, company cafeterias, or need childcare centers. Besides, the robots and AI software can work 24/7 or be put to rest if there is a drop in orders.
This is why Amazon has set a goal of replacing the humans with robots up to 30% in the next couple years. While humans used to gripe at the massive profits Jeff Bezos and his CEOs earn whether via Amazon Fulfillment Centers, Amazon Prime, Amazon Cloud Software, Whole Foods, Washington Post, and a host of generic market sources. Now human workers will be lucky to cling onto their job standing beside Robot X, who never has to try and qualify for unemployment insurance. Humans also undergo increased risk at the workplace from the dangers robots pose when they go haywire or have no stop button when a human being body part is caught beneath them.
The misnamed “America First” thinktanks have in mind a streamlined robotic economy that puts out of work many white-collar professions: teachers, accountants, medical technicians, anything that is “merely procedural” and routine, even engineering or drafting, are at risk. The maws of the robot economy are going to put more Americans out of work faster than they can ever be retrained and rehired as ” AI technicians” despite the rosy forecasts by corporate middle-managers (who themselves are at-risk). Besides, how many technicians will be needed to take care of the robots? Surely the capitalists will only want to hire as few as needed, maybe aiming for at most a 30% human workforce.
How does that even begin to compare with a Rooseveltian view of expanding the National Park Service, establishing the Forest Service, and building all the massive federal public works projects for the benefit of the People, the Human Beings that helped alleviate the Great Depression?
It is an insult to Frances Perkins, the first female Cabinet Member under President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who advocated tirelessly for workers rights and worker protections, and became the first Department of Labor Secretary. Today, if Frances Perkins were alive, she would be a staunch defender of Human Labor Rights over those of ChatGPT and robots.
DOGE Scam
The race to robotize manufacturing, industry, farming, and commerce in America is presumably to “contain China” and “communism.” Anytime the common American needs a whipping boy, he or she uses the label of “communist” to justify all manners of vengeance. In fact, the motto of today’s People’s Republic of China (PRC) is “Socialism with Chinese Characteristics.” That is, the government, run by the Communist People’s Party (now more capitalist-socialist than before), is focused on firstly alleviating extreme poverty, balancing the needs of the poor through development of economic opportunity zones, development of infrastructure for those regions, and educating or training workers. It is focused on taking care first of the village, then the county, the state, and the nation, and then attending to regional growth and self-defense.
More nations are attracted to partner with the PRC than ever before because, as podcaster Carl Zha asserts, China is focused on win-win beneficial contracts, not on win-lose, or punishing countries that are not sufficiently adherent to its political or cultural philosophies. If that were the case, it could scarcely do business with anybody, much less any autocratic nations, since it has become a model of U.N. Human Rights humanitarianism.

There are secret plans to automate and restructure the government along similar lines as private industry. This is the real task of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), an executive level special office set up under President Trump. Insofar as redundancy, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) is a long-time “Congressional Watchdog.” However, DOGE is not just looking to downsize workforces and replace them with artificial intelligence librarians, researchers, and other self-writing software.
The DC funded study, “Future of the Federal City” envisions gentrifying 8 million sf worth of Federal property for globalist housing projects
DTO, the technocrats, and favored developer insiders already have plans for how to redevelop a variety of federal buildings planned for demolishment. These redevelopment plans are on the back-burner, courtesy of their network, which also includes Democratic players. For instance, a study called “Future of the Federal City” was completed by a variety of consultants, including Perkins Eastman DC on October 31, 2024. The study was sponsored by the Office of the Deputy Mayor Planning & Economic Development, Georgetown University, the Washington DC Economic Partnership, and the DC Government under the leadership of Mayor Muriel Bowser.
This study prioritizes redevelopment for the federal properties of the GAO, the FBI (Edgar Hoover Building), the Perkins complex (Department of Labor), and Forrestal complex (IRS buildings near L’Enfant Plaza). The developers, including architects Skidmore, Owings & Merrill; Cushman & Wakefield; FD Stonewater; and Leo A Daly; envision that all these key federal properties will be redeveloped for a “new DC-Federal relationship” including rezoning to allow residential mixed-use.
Mayor Sells Out DC
The developers and the Mayor’s Office envision an estimated 8 million square feet for primarily residential units with requisite retail shops and parking garages. The conversion arrangements and plans are taking place practically behind the public’s backs. If there are notices of public hearings, typical of today’s oversight hearings, there will be a manufactured consensus or Delphi-Effect in allowing “planned compensatory mitigation.” As anyone living inside the D.C. area has noticed, it is as if the Mayor and the Council (along with the machinations by the Representative) are hoping to sell the ground from underneath the taxpayers’ feet.
Already these developments in NoMa (north Massachusetts Avenue), Walter Reed, City Center, The Wharf, U Street, and so on have pushed the poor out of their former subsidized housing. The developments always promise to dedicate a small fraction for lower-income residents, but the definition has vastly expanded under the Rent Act of 2011 whereby rent ceilings are established in relation to average median income (AMI), no matter if those income-bearers neither live nor work year-round inside D.C. In other words, the Rent Act of 2011 opened the door for rental occupancy speculation, making it highly tempting for building owners to sell or convert their units away from subsidized housing. Today the situation was recently made worse by the passage of the RENTAL Act of 2025, which enables any landlord to get rid of undesirable tenants on a ruse.
It is unknown who will be living in 8 million additional square feet of residential housing inside of DC, but it is a good bet that they will be of the globalist class. The wealthy scions of sheikhs, scions who can easily afford to enter under the “Golden Pass” visa being sold by President Trump. This will no longer be a federal city made of government workers representing and serving The People. Instead, they will be of the same ilk as the technocratic class living in gentrification bubbles in San Francisco, New York, Boston, Atlanta, and elsewhere. They will be tax-absconding globalist players who love to trot their overpriced dogs, shop at Trader Joe’s, show off their weekend cars, and throw wild parties.
Their future, like the polygamous Elon Musk, is one of developing “sex-tech” whereby the elites will be able to use-and-toss any manner of “sex-toy” children, young teenagers, or captive adults. They will mistake housekeeping and house-cleaners as slaves, as they already do in the Middle East (UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon), confiscating passports, personal documents, underpaying them, beating them, raping them, denying them holiday, family, or medical visits, and finally killing them and consuming their organs.
Both political parties, Democrat and Republican, are partially responsible for the present ongoing great scurrilous scam that is bankrupting America. The Democrats will promise to expand Medicare and Social Security, but how can they when they insist on intensifying foreign wars against Russia and Iran? No one is being held accountable for the kinds of AI investment offshoring which UNFTR discusses whereby tax-shelters are used to help launder reinvestments in these expensive development projects.
