Gaza Starvation and Suffering Ignored by Elite

As the end of 2025 arrives, President Trump is celebrating many wins this year, including becoming the Director of the Peace Board for Gaza, in Occupied Palestine, after the “20-Point Peace Plan” was approved by the U.N. Security Council in early October 2025.

It would appear that peace had finally arrived in Gaza, and that shipments of food and necessities would begin, including a lifting of the sea embargo. However reports are that this has not occurred. The Israelis were not content with the return of prisoners and prisoner bodies; they wanted every last body found, something that Hamas could not comply with because of the extent of devastation from war. Israelis continued to resist entry of cargo trucks from Southern Gaza border crossings. Observers note that the count averaging 120 trucks per day is far lower than the pre-October 7, 2023 counts and current need of 600 trucks per day to compensate for two years of border shutdowns and lengthy delays.

Since 2024, there has been a concerted effort in threatening, striking, and murdering journalists, reporters, citizen watchdogs transmitting recordings of the atrocities. In particular there were concerted planned attacks against area hospitals especially in northern Gaza. Throughout Gaza, not even including the accelerated pogroms on the West Bank, the toll has been enormous. According to various sources including Palestine Studies, the number of medical doctors, nurses, emergency personnel and specialists martyred, including detained, captured, and tortured within the nefarious Israeli prisons exceeds 1,500. Martyrs from civil defense crew, municipal employees, mayors, police, aid security, and UNRWA employees number over 1,300. Martyred journalists number at least 254; martyred scientists, academics, and teachers number nearly 1,030.

Full counts have been impossible to conduct amid the daily bomb strikes throughout Gaza and IDF orders to flee back and forth (north to central to south and back), so there are tens of thousands of people missing, whose deaths are presumed or cannot be confirmed. Morgues have closed so there is little ability to keep official track. It is likely a factor of ten may be applied to establishment reports; it would not be surprising that the civilian population has reduced by fifty percent. So many wounded and traumatized for life.

The Israelis want a severely reduced populace, otherwise why has it relentlessly lain siege to, and deliberately conducted starvicide and denied aid and treatment? The fruits of their destruction is self-evident. At least 650,000 children are chronically malnourished, at least 42% of critically ill patients are martyred, hundreds of aid distribution centers and food kitchens deliberately targeted, including World Food Kitchen delivery drivers. The number of days that border crossings were closed number is over 600 days meaning that in two years time they were only open for about 130 days. Citizen journalists and drivers have reported on thousands of trucks parked in Rafah with food left to rot due to not being able to enter. The border guards are vicious laggards, taking their time, picking through everything, pointing guns, and turning trucks away if any dual-use items are found.

The consequences for the entire Gaza community are horrendous. If before October 7th Palestinians thought things were tough, such as dealing with water scarcity and sanitation and energy needs, afterwards they continue to be nonexistent. The IDF conducts daily attacks, tank shellings, and bomb strikes. The IDF policy is that every Palestinian in Gaza is “Hamas.” Hamas is the political party that has provided bureaucratic administrative and government services for Gaza since 2006. The before and after video of Gaza, “Gaza Before the Genocide,” takes a loving walk through its various neighborhoods depicting life before the genocide. It is a standing testament to the noble idealists and creative artists and every day people who called Gaza home such that they retained such vibrant surroundings in spite of impassable blockades and deadly incursions by the IDF terrorists.

“I hope this short video gives you a glimpse into our life before the genocide. This is just one story of one family. Do you see the devastating impact of the genocide once you multiply that by 2.3 million? This is why we say we are not just numbers. We have entire lives that we built in Gaza, all of which have shattered in a blink of an eye.”

Dialogue and Understanding Obviated by United States

Today the basic problem in Western society is a gross lack of sensitivity and ethics when it comes to conducting political dialogue with foreign countries. There is a proclivity to dispense with diplomacy and over-reliance on weapons, especially since the United States is now dominated by a “techno-capitalist” elite closely allied with the War Department. If the motto is “peace through strength” then the military must become the muscle “flexed.” Hence the emphasis on war drills, exercises, world-wide security, and “applied practice” otherwise no “might by right”—and all the capital investment for technocratic supremacy, power, and control would have to be re-invested domestically.

The rare commentator at Unz magazine writes with fellowship and cheer, although his sobering perspective is considered old-fashioned:

“The very existence of a large military is just a sign of the economic ignorance and tribalism of the American public and its democratically elected politicians. It is a reflection of a flawed ideology which erroneously believes that the fellow homo sapiens in other parts of the world are somehow so different from us, so irrational, potentially malicious, and unwilling to use reason and logic to discuss potential intellectual differences, that it makes all militarism necessary.”

In the age of instantaneous communication, social media allows the crudest of politicians to express themselves with grotesque pugnacious vulgarity, for instance, President Trump using AI-generated cartoon video “to take a dump” on No Kings Day marchers. Rather than leadership by intellect and thought, his man-culture trend reduces common citizens into objects under blunt instruments of control. Similarly by adhering to extremist labels, US-Israel can settle land disagreements without having Hamas at the diplomatic table, just like England blithely carved up Palestinian lands for the creation of Israel using the Balfour Declaration written in the early 20th century inside a nobleman’s castle.

In “Trump Keeps Delighting Osama Bin Laden: The Economics of Military Spending,” the essayist explains the long-term consequences: America will fall due to her own excesses. Better to have produced wealth slowly but surely, using laborers and shovels, than to bomb-bomb-bomb just so a few can live the opulent life-styles of select Roman elitists.

American/NATO military technocrats are addicted to the new thrill of fox-hunting using techno-wizardry. They must justify the complicated chase that arising terrorist threats demand global supremacy over all sovereign nations. How else can they boast about high intelligence, published research, and specialized learning proving that AI will allow superior rapid data gathering (surveillance), sorting, sensing (monitoring), generative computing (predictive algorithms), decision-making (targeting), and final-acting (strike)?

Everything can be virtual and autonomous! We are testing out so many new hybrid warfare on our caged human lab-rats! These videos demonstrate the effectiveness and economy marketed from our lethal weapons catalog! The kill-rate is tremendous and instantaneous!

Nobody is encouraged to even try to patiently solve human dilemmas using collaboration, cooperation, empathy, understanding, patience, or practicing tolerance. It just doesn’t reek of ogre-world ogre-power ogre-over-nature bone-crushing soul-robbing cruelty and sadism. It doesn’t smell man-culture bloody and lacks sufficient awe-inspiring revulsion!

“Imagine if we divided the 535 members of congress into 5 groups of 107 people, and every 3 months each group alternates between spending a week visiting politicians and their families in other countries, and hosting foreign politicians in the USA. In just one year these 5 groups would get to significantly interact with fellow homo sapiens from 20 countries, doing infinitely more to overcome the mythical ‘good vs. evil’ homo sapiens ideology which kept Europeans slaughtering each other across the trenches from 1914 to 1918 in World War One for reasons no one out of a million today know or care about and keeps plunging us into useless wars.”

— Jorge Besada, Unz writer

Perhaps such diplomatic visits will result in cultural refinement or spiritual enlightenment—other forbidden concepts in the West today. Growth and genuine compassionate leadership is out of fashion. Instead, it is becoming a “thought-crime” to contemplate sanctioning and withholding arms to the Zionist nation that keeps killing innocent children and women, martyring the cream of Palestinian society, causing such unwonted collective suffering that the psychological damage from this genocide will remain for generations. If even one life could have been saved, such as that of a 16-year-old Palestinian boy, Zahir Nasser Shamia, shot by the IDF, then crushed to death by a military vehicle for crossing the “yellow line” border dividing Gaza, how many more are worth saving from dying needlessly?

What Palestinian Intellectuals and Thinkers Say

Palestinian leaders, diplomats, poets, and writers are expressing their dissatisfaction with the failure of the United Nations to realize that this 20-point peace plan is just another ruse. Israel never has any intention of abiding by humanitarian obligations for Palestine. Just look at all the land-grabs ever since 1948. According to Palestine Solidarity Campaign, this ceasefire has too much which is open-ended and vague, such as no time limit for the IDF to withdraw, no mandatory open border crossings for daily aid truck quotas, and no stipulation that UNRWA, which used to have at least 400 distribution centers (versus the 4 “death traps” provided by the GHF), can return into Gaza.

There is also a demand for full disarmament of Gazans as if Palestinians do not merit their nationality as stipulated by the ICJ that they have full national rights which also includes the right to self-defense. There is not even an immediate emergency time-table and priority orders for rapid restoration of essential basic infrastructure, especially for water, wastewater treatment, waste-disposal, sewers, and energy systems. The Israelis are already trying to bait all professionals and leadership class Gazans to evacuate through financial inducements and plane tickets to faraway nations such as South Africa. Once the leaders leave, won’t the IDF be able to reduce Gaza completely into dust?

Here is what AJA+ video journalist Bisan Owda documented in her recent return to Gaza’s north for the first time in months, capturing the extent of recent ongoing destruction, and the sentiments of fellow travellers and families walking along the highway. Below is the link to “It’s Bisan from Gaza, And Israel Even Took Our Rubble.” She states in the description: “They removed everything from existence. There is only dust and no rubble.” She captures the journeys of people traveling back and forth across the Strip as ordered by the IDF. Many have what remains of their homes now packed on carts or cars if they are lucky: tents, carpets, clothing, cooking pots, buckets. The Gazans are not even able to purchase new sandals or shoes: they walk strenuously relative to their daily caloric intake, nevertheless workers like medical staff do so daily because it is their only cause celebre, surviving to remain in service for their brothers and sisters in medical need. Travelers pass by apocalytical scenes replete with “tractor bombs,” the latest method the IDF use to pulverize remaining damaged concrete buildings, reducing them to thick layers of dust. Nobody has the equipment to test if nanothermite or radiation is used inside the bombs.

To date, at least 200,000 tons of explosives have been dropped on Gaza. Why must “Technological Prowess” include mystery explosives, banned materials such as cluster bombs, being used on Gaza? All this destruction requires clean up before the “rebuilding.” All the death and destruction visited upon these civilians is man-made.

Because the Palestinians are trapped within Gaza, the IDF is free to twist the 20-Point Peace Plan into torturous new forms of life-extraction and ecological destruction. As Bisan’s documentary shows, the IDF may even be covertly using banned chemical, biological, and radioactive materials in their LAWS. Anytime these videos are shared, there is the familiar sound of drones flying in the background. Night or day, the quadcopters come laden with deadly materials to deliver to their targets. It has been recorded that the IDF used phosphorus bombs in Southern Lebanon and several times in Gaza. To clear out the northern Gaza hospitals, such as Kamal Adwan, they repeatedly bombed at the entrance of the building and eventually on the buildings themselves. They sent quadcopters repeatedly to try to assassinate Dr. Hussam, the hospital director, but his resolve frustrated them. In the final days of the hospital existence, the military tractors would leave heavy plywood boxes that would later detonate with the strength of magnitude 4 earthquakes.

They eventually realized that to kill the soul of the hospital and its resilience, they had to kill or capture Dr. Hussam, the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in North Gaza. From October through December 2024, the IDF planned and focused attacks on hospitals and clinics in North and Central Gaza, striking and emptying water tanks, disabling spare generators, darkening the buildings so that surgeons had to operate using the lights from cell phones. When footage of this was shared on social media by doctors, those doctors were placed on IDF death lists. The IDF also attacked doctors’ families, their loved ones, simply to undermine their shared humanitarianism. Nobody from the IDF is ever held accountable; General Yoav Gallant is now hailed as a “hero” and possible “prime minister” even though countless deadly bombings on civilians took place under his command!

“The Disappearance of Dr. Abu Safiya,” Fault Lines, Sep 12, 2025, AlJazeera.com

This is why Dr. Hussam’s eldest son, Ibrahim, just 20 years old, was martyred. Dr. Hussam’s wife holds painful wait for her husband, Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, who has been imprisoned since December 27, 2024 by Israeli prison service. The kind saintly doctor is revered by many of the staff and his treated patients, but utterly reviled by the IDF to such an extent that he has been beaten, tortured, and interrogated many times, placed in solitary confinement, lives on less than 1000 calories of food daily, and is down to 40kg weight. He has no access to doctors even though he has developed a heart problem. The men undergo severe humiliations such as stripping down to their underwear and kneeling for hours without motion lest they are shot. On the day before Dr. Hussam can see his lawyer, at most twice a month, his shackles are tightened and he undergoes more beating. His private conversation with the lawyer is recorded by the prison staff. The IPS are also known to sodomize and rape prisoners, killing them in the process, as they did another previous Gaza doctor-hero. The bodies are rarely returned to the family, and so many Palestinians never know what became of their arrested bread-provider.

Because of the 3-month siege against Kamal Adwan hospital and the surrounding neighborhoods, everyone remembers Dr. Hussam very well. He would never give up doing his work to save the injured children and patients and families, who regarded the hospital and surrounding area as a sanctuary, no matter how many times the IDF threatened him. This was precisely why the hospital was targeted. There was no Hamas terrorists hiding inside; the IDF could have entered and arrested any Hamas; but clearly they were carpet bombing the area around the hospital because they saw the cultural community as a treasure, the same why the IDF targeted UNRWA schools become community living quarters. It is as if the Zionists’ true desire is to break the Palestinians’ spiritual heritage and anything that helps them rise above their reduced conditions to be fully human, not IDF beasts.

“We are truly perishing, we are truly being genocided.”

Dr. Hussam, in communication

It must be extremely demoralizing for the medical staff and doctors to be begging the outside world for equipment, medicines, ambulances, when nobody seems to pay any attention. Yet everyone knew the staff tried their best. As another visiting doctor, Dr. Saya Aziz from Australia, observes, there is no way protocols can be followed because of such limited supplies, yet the medical staff worked more swiftly and resourcefully than any Western counterparts, because they accepted these war-time conditions. The families are so grateful for the efforts, even when sometimes so little could be done. This compassion, plus the ability to share live feeds, goes directly against the demonic entities’ values.

This is why when Dr. Hussam was captured, they regarded him as a war-trophy. When he was first detained, he was held for 47 days without communication with the outside world and no lawyer. They regret that the world captured his march out to their artillery tractor when they beckoned him, “Telaviv wants you.” Not only was there insufficient due process, but his trial was a sham, resulting in a determination without evidence that he must remain in prison because he is an “unlawful combatant.” For interviews, Dr. Hussam is even forced to wear an IDF-like uniform. His relatives know that his real charge was that “he is guilty of keeping the hospital going” and this was viewed as offensive to the Zionists. Seared into memory are the last days of Kamal Adwan when the IDF lobbed bombs at the hospital and aimed a tractor muzzle through the hospital entrance doors.

Palestinians Retain the Authority to Fight Back

Obviously Prime Minister Netanyahu wants the Palestinians exterminated out of the land for the Chosen People of God. The Knesset wrote the National Law whereby only Jews are considered as full citizens. They want all of the land that belongs to Occupied Palestine; they are always building new walls, then partitioning the boundaries of those walls and fences and borders. Jewish Power Party leader Ben Gvir, once labeled a terrorist, supplies Jewish settlers free rifles, so they are free to terrorize West Bank towns and farms.

Such an easy way to gain land and build a house or get one for free! Even teens are encouraged to act as thugs and gangster terrorists, setting buildings ablaze, uprooting olive trees, shooting at sheep and cattle, and taking stray aim at the humans. To strengthen their resolve, they do witches dances on the hills, holding hands, and bouncing up and down in a frenzy as they hold ritualistic circles. To confirm their camaraderie, they knock their heads against the Western Wall, to make sure that God hands them more authority.

It is as if the more insecure the Zionists feel, the more death they perpetuate, they must kill yet more to cover each additional crime against humanity. This is the madness of the “killing disease” as seen historically by Japanese soldiers who took such blood-curdling delight in beheading or stabbing their prisoners to death that their eyes begot a glazed-over quality. Under General Ishii, they kept copious records about their ethnic cleansing, discussed learnedly what kind of experiments they performed, and even proudly presented their biological warfare research on the “yellow tailed monkeys” at international conferences. These same “technological” vanities are exhibited by AI operators of LAWS today.

Today’s experts are obsessed with testing, deploying, and fine-tuning all the “AI-driven warfare” helping automate open hybrid-warfare. The Lethal Autonomous Weapons Systems (LAWS) used include: Alchemist, The Gospel, and Fire Factory. These are developed by Unit 8200 and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. They are complemented by U.S. AI ancillaries, such as Project Nimbus cloud services (Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle); satellite delivery communications; and Palantir’s multiple AI algorithmic services. According to Massachusetts Peace Action, these contracts total in the tens of billions of dollars. No wonder their CEOs are going on joy tours to Israel, even though if they cogitate on the extreme number of deaths, they would realize that these LAWS instruments must not be very accurate. There are so many incidental murders.

But under the tenuous 20-point peace-plan struck a few months ago, there is no historical mention of Palestinian Nakbas going back to at least 1948. It pains many Palestinians, who keep a good recounting of their history (that is the very context for political organizing), that there is currently no admission of violations, of wrong-doing, or of randomized killing. At the very least, there must be an immediate reversal of the ongoing mortality, reparations for all the atrocities, and public international scrutiny of all wrongs done. Only when Israeli officials are publicly tried and arrested and jailed at the ICC and Nuremberg-type Trials are held, can there be national cognizance that apartheid (Zionism) is evil.

The following are quotes by Dr. Ghada Karmi in an interview with Palestinian Deep Dive‘s Ahmed Alnaouq in “Why the World Must Reject Zionism” on December 11, 2025. They repeatedly discuss whether it is a self-defeating battle, and how they must fight colonization anyway. Dr. Ghada stated that the rhetorical tactics must change, we must question our politicians, ask them why they support the genocide, and focus on who is enabling the genocide.

“I want this genocide to stop. What can you do? Why don’t you help me?”

“Show me exactly what it is about Israel that you so support that you ignore genocide, that you are happy to see the destruction of international law, that you’re happy to see crime, land theft. What is it about the perpetrator of these crimes that you support? Now I need you to tell me because I want to understand. I’m a voter and I need to understand.”

“Who is allowing this to happen? Who gives Israel this impunity?

“We must shift our emphasis to questioning why the enablers support Israel.”

According to Dr. Ghada Karmi, a world-renown author and academic, there are ways that people can defend the Palestinians’ rights to their native land and their right to return when they are forced into exile. It is important to stay connected to Palestinian culture, politics, and attend conferences or organizing events. One should be unafraid to contact one’s legislator and ask “Why do you support this genocide? Why have we voted for this?” People must expose the atrocities taking place and use all forms of media. Even if there is censorship, there will always be ways to share, ways to raise awareness, and ways to confront. For leaders, attending events like the recent Gaza Tribunal in Istanbul help bolster and strengthen the semiotics of neocolonialist oppression and the rhetoric of peaceful revolution. Activists who are timid can work collectively or join BDS. For those who are bolder, it is possible in the UK to form a new political party, one that is based upon a platform that is pro-Palestine. Developing the dialectics of destroying Zionist-enabling in all its virulent forms whether in government, media, celebrity-culture, contemporary religion, academia, and politics will take a lot of effort. Dr. Karmi provides a few examples for questioning and publicly exposing participants and enablers:

“That’s part of the enabling. So if you look at the use of antisemitism as a smear to prevent people from criticizing Israel, that’s what it’s really about…they’d rather attack you than stop the Israeli army from killing Palestinian children. What kind of a situation is that?”

“You [Israeli settler Dani Dayan], despite your eloquence, you and your fellow settlers represent nothing other than common thieves. You live on stolen land. You drink stolen water. You eat stolen fruit. You farm stolen farms. Convince me and the audience and the viewers that you and your settler friends are not common thieves!”

Besides the blame-shifting of accusations of genocide onto Palestinian activists as “antisemites,” there are other Western enabling favorite accusations of Palestinians, Arabs, and indeed Moslems in general, including people of color, as all being “Islamic Nationalists” and therefore all easily categorized by Homeland Security as “domestic terrorists.” Here is what Dr. Ghada Karmi, in her recent interview with Ahmed Alnaouq on Palestine Deep Dive, also shares for substantiating subaltern veins of thought and reasoning for ending Zionism and arguing for an eventual idyllic one-state solution where both Palestinians and Jews can live side-by-side with equal rights for all.

“Why should a state that was invented, with an invented population, have become so important that we can’t live without it?”

“Zionism is evil. It is purely evil. It has created disasters, misery, atrocities, wars, aggression, unhappiness, insecurity for millions of Palestinians and Arabs. This ideology has no place whatsoever in a just world. None. It has to go. It has to end. And it has to be removed. It’s even its memory has to go.”

“Zionism is a force which has enslaved Western governments, which has destroyed so much for the Palestinians. This force, Zionism, is something we all need to think about and to fight without any hesitation.”

“Arabs are not rubbish. They’re not colonized rubbish. They have a glorious history. They have a magnificent past, magnificent achievements. And you, the colonial West, have abused us. You have made us feel bad about ourselves. That’s not fair and it’s not right.”

Dr. Ghada Karmi is working on a new book that will be a historical novel about medieval Baghdad, Iraq. The aim is always politically to question the layers of dominant hegemony with its various embedded presumptions, such as favoritism for Zionism. Only by dismantling the functions and mechanisms of indulgent entitlement for Zionists can Palestine return to a place of freedom and religious and ethnic egalitarianism. Only then can real democracy reside in the Holy Land, and not today’s evil militaristic fascistic state.
